On November 25, 1880, Muhammad Riza Khan, son of Aqa Muhammad Rahim, leased some properties to Aqa Sayyid Abu Ja‘far and Haji Mirza ‘Abd al-Samad, the merchant and son of Aqa Mirza Muhammad Kazim. Following a claim by Khavar Sultan, wife of the late Brigadier Muhammad Karim Khan, part of the property belongs to her. Thus, an adjustment was made to the amount of the lease. On November 23, 1881, Haji Mirza ‘Abd al-Samad became the sole tenant of the property by paying Aqa Sayyid Abu Ja‘far.
